Join the Social Networking Training and become part of the social revolution.
The training teach young people to use social networking (Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, etc.) to tell their stories and learn IT skills they can use in their personal life or to become trainers, consultants or software developers.
Who should apply?
The workshops are designed for young motivated people with a secondary or tertiary degree that can participate full time, i.e. are currently not employed or studying. Participants should reside in Windhoek to make participation and later involvement easier, as NBIC cannot provide travel expenses and lodging.
The participation is Free of Charge! But, in return for receiving free training you commit to volunteer at NBIC e.g. to help with events, help training the next round of participants, help other NGOs or companies improve their social network representation.
How to apply?
Submit to NBIC via email the following documents:
- A motivational letter stating why you want to participate, what you are currently doing, how you will make the time available for the trainings
- A completed copy of the attached questionnaire
- A signed copy of the attached Pledge of Commitment

As space is limited, NBIC might invite you for a brief interview to select the best candidates for the training.
Application deadline for Participants is 9 July 2012 @ 17:00h.
Selected candidates will be informed by 13 July 2012.
